Waiting at checkpoint. Khan Younis, Gaza Strip

At a checkpoint in Central Gaza Strip near the Kfar Darom settlement, the Israeli military has recently changed the 'regulations' to forbid people to walk through the checkpoint or cars to pass with less than three people in them. On a good day the checkpoint will be closed twice for about two or three hours each time. People get out of the overcrowded taxis to stretch. Unlike at checkpoints in the West Bank, the soldiers here stay in their towers and signal through the peep holes
